Lycian Way Oct 2018
My rucksack is packed and its nearly time to walk along the Turkish Coast between Fethiye and Antalya. Judged to be one of the top 10 long distance paths in the World where past civilisations and astonishing beauty await - well thats what the guide book says anyway.
I start walking on the 2nd of Oct and all things being equal and barring any set backs I should end up in Antalya 29 days later. I intend to post pictures of goats, yogurt, olives and other nice things along the route.
Still hoping that I may be joined by one of the many stray dogs along the way and promise not to bring her/him home.
Tim

Wish I could join you again on another adventure, but best of luck, I will follow the blog.
ReplyDeleteReally looking forward to seeing photos along the way, no blisters feet pics though!! Safe and happy travels! Take “As I walked out one Summers Day” by Laurie Lee with you to read!
ReplyDeleteThink I'd like to follow, from my armchair that is.

ReplyDeleteNever mind "Where's Wally" "Where's Tim"?
ReplyDeleteI was wondering the same thing.
DeleteMe too.
DeleteSorry about lack of update first few days I had no Wi-fi - second few days no energy now planning to catch up as in a place with Wi-fi and beer ! 😊
ReplyDeleteNo worries, is it as good as you expected? The pictures you have put on FB look great, again wish I could be there!
DeleteIt is a part of the world where you feel as if history waits for you around every corner and the people are so friendly. I am loving it I have to say and each day gets easier in terms of acclimatising and I hope the next 260 km are as stunning as the last 80 !
ReplyDeleteAnd the last 160k?
